Thank you for your interest in Bear Creek Carpentry. We'd like to tell you a little about ourselves and our products. ABOUT BEAR CREEK CARPENTRY Bear Creek Carpentry has been operating in the Adirondacks since 1991 and has over 20 years of carpentry experience. We mill a high percentage of our own lumber at our shop. We build prefabricated mini cabins and cabins, playhouses, storage sheds, adirondack furniture, complete homes, timberframes, conventionally framed homes and log cabins. We also build additions, decks, docks, boat houses, commercial structures, pole barns, garages and do custom log work. Your free time is a valuable commodity and we understand this. We are willing to meet with you in person or speak to you on the phone about your project or plans. From the initial design and estimating stage, to the milling of lumber and the completion of the project. Bear Creek Carpentry is your "one stop shop". By not subcontracting out the work, we have been able to cut out the middlemen, therefore, keeping costs down to you. Being a home-based business, our hours are very flexible. We're sure that we can arrange a time that would be convenient for you to discuss your plans. 
ABOUT OUR WORKMANSHIP
Our designs are attractive and functional. Since we live,
work and play year round in the Adirondacks, we know from experience what designs work in
the severe weather conditions of the North Country.
Our roof lines are simple, our pitches are steep, and our roofs are strong. The porches and entrances on our designs are at the gable ends and covered, eliminating the need to shovel your way in or out. Our lumber, which we mill ourselves, is locally harvested and full dimension, providing strength at a lower cost. The standard windows in our packages are insulated and are available in wood or vinyl. All framing, siding, trim, and handrails are made by Bear Creek Carpentry. We also produce all the furnishings and cabinetry offered as options in our cabins. Bear Creek Carpentry can supply from the rough to the fine finish and we strive to produce a product in the standards of old world craftsmanship, using the latest technology. Bear Creek Carpentry offers base designs as a guide. We will work with you to plan a design that best fits your needs. Whether you are a skier or snowmobiler, backpacker or hunter, single or a family, we feel confident that we can work out a design that suits your lifestyle. Perhaps you're looking to build your dream getaway home which you can complete yourself or you're a campground owner looking for multiple buildings complete with furnishing, we can help. We have employed the same building techniques in the construction of our workshop in Woodgate, NY as we do in our customer's buildings.
